The Royal Bath & West of England Society

Founded on 8 September 1777, The Royal Bath & West of England Society is the oldest Agricultural Society in the country. It was conceived originally ‘for the encouragement of Agriculture, Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in the Counties of Somerset, Wilts, Gloucester and Dorset’ and the Society’s mission remains the same to this very day.

The Kent County Agricultural Society supports agriculture, horticulture, forestry and other related industries through grants to individuals, school visits, financial support to Kent Young Farmers Clubs, organising an education day for nearly 3000 primary school children and the annual Kent County Show.
